New Galaxy Buds 3 case looks like a muffin

Samsung has collaborated with Seongsimdang, a famous bakery in Daejeon, South Korea, to launch a case for its flagship earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. The case’s design resembles the bakery’s signature item, Fried Soboro, when it is put in the yellow wrapping paper, making these earbuds look like a muffin, and probably making you want to take a bite off the earbuds every time you look at them.

Samsung has priced the Galaxy Buds 3 Series Seongsimdang Fried Soboro Case at KRW 44,000 (approximately USD $32) and has made them available to purchase from Samsung’s official online and offline stores in the country starting today. The company will also display the new case at six Seongsimdang stores from 13 September 2024.

Samsung has also launched packages combining the Galaxy Buds 3/3 Pro and the Seongsimdang Fried Soboro Case, which costs less than purchasing the two items separately. The Galaxy Buds3 Pro Seongsimdang Case Package costs KRW 309,000 ($229), and the Galaxy Buds 3 Seongsimdang Case Package costs KRW 216,000 ($159). These are exclusively available on Samsung’s official online store starting today.

People can also win gift cards they can use at the bakery

Seongsimdang will be holding an SNS Purchase Certification Event at the end of this month. At the event, it will give a KRW 30,000 Seongsimdang gift card to a hundred people (most likely chosen through a lucky draw) who purchased this case and uploaded their photo on social media. You can use that to buy more muffins.

Commenting on the launch of the new product, a Samsung official said “The Seongsimdang Fried Soboro Case is a product planned so that users can experience the excellent sound quality of the Galaxy Buds 3 series and Seongsimdang’s popular menu items more enjoyably. We will continue to carry out diverse collaborations that satisfy the eyes and ears of customers and present differentiated product experiences.

The story continues after the video…

Of course, launching the Galaxy Buds 3 Series Seongsimdang Fried Soboro Case in other parts of the world wouldn't make sense as Seongsimdang isn't famous anywhere outside of South Korea. So, don't expect Samsung to launch it in other countries. If you are planning to buy the Galaxy Buds 3, click on the link below to get the best deal.
